The Elephant and the Teapot are Friends a new book set in India

United States, 5th Aug 2024, King NewsWire - Award winning husband and wife team, Mike Dubisch and Carolyn Watson Dubisch are running a Kickstarter for their new picture book for young children. “The Elephant and the Teapot are Friends” is a remarkable tale of two very unlikely friends.

When the story opens we get to know the Teapot who’s life is changed by a sudden gust of wind. The wind sends him tumbling into a whole new world beyond what he has ever known. He finds himself at a watering hole, lost and alone.

He is then instantly befriended by a baby elephant who brings him through the jungle to meet everyone he knows!

"The Elephant and the Teapot are Friends" is not only a story of friendship but also a celebration of the unique qualities that each individual brings to a relationship, making it a perfect read for children who are learning about the values of empathy and acceptance.

The illustrations are beautifully done in pen and ink and then colored by artist Mike Dubisch of The Boxcar Children comic books. The setting of the jungle in India gives the whole book a wonderful fairy tale feel. The Kickstarter is guaranteeing delivery for the book and a special coloring book version, by Christmas. Some rewards include some of Carolyn’s other books as well as a puzzle featuring all the characters having tea.
